Landscape of Slavery: The Plantation in American Art

Angela D. Mack is the executive director and chief curator of the Gibbes Museum of Art in Charleston. She is coeditor of Landscape of Slavery: The Plantation in American Art. She has served as curator for numerous exhibitions and written or edited accompanying catalogs. Among her recent exhibitions are In Pursuit of Refinement: Charlestonians Abroad: 1740–1860; Henry Benbridge (1743–1812): Charleston Painter; and Edward Hopper in Charleston.
