Bellman Bear Books | Booth #224

www.bellmanbear.com

We are excited to introduce the Bellman Bear Series and hope that Bellman’s books will be a valuable tool for parents and teachers to use as you teach your children about the United States and the world. Brenda Richards, an elementary school teacher in South Carolina for 29 years, often used teddy bears to teach important lessons in her classroom. Now Bellman helps her continue to teach children through his traveling adventures. Each book focuses on history, map skills, and interesting facts. Brantley Parrott, a Business Administration graduate, believes that the world becomes a greater place when we take the time to walk in someone else’s shoes. Bellman’s books allow children to do just that by introducing them to places and cultures that are different from their own experience. When they are not busy helping Bellman plan his next trip, this mother and daughter enjoy learning new things and taking care of their families. They share a love of children’s books and hope that you will enjoy Bellman’s adventures along with them! Bellman and the authors are available for school visits. Please visit www.bellmanbear.com for scheduling details.

Sandlapper Society | Booth #221

www.sandlapper.org

Sandlapper is a non-profit quarterly magazine dedicated to promoting South Carolina. For more than 40 years, Sandlapper Magazine has been telling the never-ending story of the state of South Carolina. Published quarterly, Sandlapper covers South Carolina’s people, places, culture and history. Produced by the Sandlapper Society, our magazine is beloved to Palmetto state residents and visitors alike. We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) educational organization dedicated to promoting the state of South Carolina.

Sandlapper promotes all that is good about The Palmetto State. Seems like every time you pick up the newspaper you read about something scandalous happening in
South Carolina. But every time you pick up a Sandlapper Magazine you read about the rich history of a wonderful place, the caring and interesting people who call South Carolina home, the cuisine we love, the events we call traditions and the quirks that make our home special!   And we do this not just for a relaxing read on a Sunday afternoon at the beach...we do this for our children, in hopes that if we all share the good news, they will grow and prosper and continue to call South Carolina home. It helps our economy, it helps our communities and it makes South Carolina a better and more nurturing place to grow up...and grow old!
